Before becoming president of Franklin College, Dr. Stott was a Union officer during the Civil War. He served as Captain of Co, I 18th Indiana Infantry. This file contains a few of the original muster rolls and othe documents from his company. The original records are held in the collection of the Franklin College Archives.
